OTHER MATTERS.

MEMBERS PRESENT AT MEETING

Samuel Quartey , Jeffrey Peprah, Edward Johnson, Manuela Krieger-Adi, Adel Afele-Gavu , Anita Wolfram, Emmanuel Agbeletey, Mrs Quartey, Abigail Amerley Amartey and our newest member Alex from Minnesota.

Meeting started at 4:25pm with 8 people present. Opening prayer was said by Abigail Amartey. Mr Quartey welcomed our newest member from Minnesota Alex to the meeting. Mr Quartey also gave us an update on the production of the T-shirts and said the T-shirts will be ready by the end of next week and members can order different designs (Long sleeves, T-Shirts with hoods e.t.c) but the company will only produce a quantity of 12 at a time. The regular T-shirts will cost $15.00 per shirt and he will find out the price for the other types.

On the open door mission program Manuela suggested we all converge at one place and go as a group but it was decided we go as individuals and My Johnson suggested members get to the place at least 15 minutes early.

For December program which is the visit to the children’s hospital Adel informed us she has not been able to get in touch with someone at the hospital yet to find out more and will get back to us later on.

It was suggested by Mr Quartey that we have a bowling event in January and there will be a relationship seminar in February. March will be our normal Independence day celebration and it was suggested a committee be formed to start planning the 6^th March celebration, volunteers are needed, please call Anita or any of the executives to sign up. Mr Quartey also suggested we add a youth night out to the programs for next year.

OTHER MATTERS.

A get well card was signed by members for Mr Dzodzomenyo and it was suggested by Anita and Jeffrey that we add a fruit basket to it and Adel said we could have My Akyeampong deliver the items since he is not accepting visitors right now. Mr Johnson asked the group to find out if they will even allow us to bring gifts in the first place. Please remember him in your prayers.

Mrs Quartey suggested it will be nice to have all the upcoming events listed on our website so members know what’s coming up and also to open a face book account for the organization and we were informed by Jeffrey we already have an account and it’s gfan.org. Jeffrey was tasked to add meeting dates and time, and the meeting notes also on the website. He was also tasked to have the website set up to send automatic email reminders to members when we have a meeting coming up.

Mr Johnson and Mr Quartey also added there should be more than one person allowed to access the emails that come in.

Meeting came to an end with Mr Johnson tasking the secretaries to text reminder notices to members when we have a meeting coming up since not everyone checks their email on a regular basis.

Meeting came to an end with 11 people present and closing prayer was said by Anita Wolfram.
